About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Management Expert who will lead the company's treasury function, including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, investment strategies, risk management, and banking relationships. This role requires managing the company's overall financial operations, overseeing investments, developing and executing strategic investment plans aligned with the company's risk tolerance and financial goals. Additionally, the expert will develop hedging strategies to mitigate risk exposure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial statements and reports that meet user needs and adhere to GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to ensure correct accounting treatments.
- Work closely with peer teams (FP&A, IR) for analysis, annual report preparation, resolving investor queries, and other tasks.
- Implement automated systems for consolidating subsidiary financials into the group company.
- Oversee the external audit process and resolve audit findings.
- Establish best practices for month-end closing, ensuring accurate provisioning and reliable monthly financials for strategic decision-making.
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial performance and variances to ensure financial health and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Lead the accounts payable team in processing invoices accurately and efficiently for payments.
- Maintain positive vendor relationships through effective communication and timely issue resolution.
- Leverage our system's Vendor Management module to automate end-to-end payment systems and build a scalable structure.
- Collaborate with Product for strengthening controls in Seller payouts and automating new use cases.
- Foster strong banking relationships and implement innovative solutions for receivables, payouts, working capital, etc.
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants and financial professionals.
Qualification & Experience Required:
- Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience, including audit experience in Big 5 firms, and experience handling Accounts/Audit in startups.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, financial reporting, and financial data analysis.
- Experience with financial management software and ERP systems.
- A strategic thinker with strong technical skills and leadership abilities, along with a strong bias for speed in execution and finding innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Estimated Salary: ₹40 Lakhs - ₹60 Lakhs per annum based on location and industry standards.
