Job Description

This position involves providing input, support and performing full systems life cycle management activities including analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software.

The successful candidate will participate in component and data architecture design, technology planning and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements.

This role collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs systems analysis and design.
  • Designs and develops moderate to highly complex applications.
  • Develops application documentation.
  • Produces integration builds.
  • Performs maintenance and support.
  • Supports emerging technologies and products.
Requirements:
  • MUST HAVE: 8+ years experience with Oracle database management systems.
  • Writing and optimizing PL/SQL statements for data manipulation and retrieval.
  • Excellent on LINUX ADMIN and Shell Scripting.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development tools.
  • Developing stored procedures, packages, and functions in PL/SQL.
  • Collaborating with other developers and project managers to enhance database functionalities.
  • Conducting performance tuning of PL/SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
  • Strong on database design principles and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in Web-related development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge on Linux Admin.
  • Knowledge of C/Pro*C preferable.
  • Knowledge of Mainframe (COBOL).
  • Knowledge of VB.NET, .NET.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or International equivalent.
  • 8+ years of IT experience in Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field - Preferred.
