Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices. You should have experience in automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cucumber.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
  • Identify and report defects using bug tracking tools, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that changes or updates do not introduce new issues.

You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, good communication and documentation skills to effectively communicate test results and issues to the development team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to stay up to date with emerging trends and advancements in automation testing, and propose their adoption in projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (CS, IT, ETC) or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Applications (MCA).
  • Proven experience of 4+ years as an Automation Tester or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cucumber.
