Job Title: Process Optimisation Specialist

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and optimise chemical processes for the production of excipients, ensuring efficiency and high-quality outputs.

This involves designing and implementing process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive manufacturing efficiency and support new product development.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining detailed records of production processes, including batch records, protocols, and reports.

In addition, you will work closely with production personnel to provide training on processes, procedures, and documentation.

Continuous improvement is a key aspect of this role, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field;
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in process development and optimisation;
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements;

Key Responsibilities
• Process Development: Develop and optimise chemical processes for the production of excipients;
• Quality Control: Perform quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications;
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues that arise during the production process, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions;
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of production processes, including batch records, protocols, and reports;
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols;
• Collaboration: Work with engineering, production, and other cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and support new product development;
• Training: Provide training to production personnel on processes, procedures, and documentation;
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality;
