Job Title: Senior Mortgage Underwriter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mortgage Underwriter to join our team. As a key member of our credit operations department, you will be responsible for assessing and underwriting mortgage proposals in alignment with internal policies.

• Mortgage Proposal Assessment: Evaluate mortgage and LAP proposals to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Credit Risk Management: Conduct thorough financial and collateral analysis to manage credit risk.
• Timely Processing: Ensure timely processing, documentation, and reporting through MIS and internal systems.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with sales teams to achieve business objectives and maintain portfolio health.

• Underwriting Performance: Achieve underwriting SLAs and maintain quality disbursal pipelines.
• Credit Compliance: Ensure adherence to credit policy, legal norms, and KYC compliance.
• Risk Monitoring: Monitor credit performance and highlight risk deviations for corrective actions.
• Credit Operations: Facilitate end-to-end credit operations for assigned branch or location.
