Senior Data Architect Position Available

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data pipelines using scalable, highly available, and consistent distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers to understand requirements, technical specifications, and deliver quality software.
  • Ensure solutions are designed and developed using scalable, highly resilient cloud-native architectures.
  • Design and implement large datasets and complex data pipelines using Python, Java, Databricks, Hive, and Spark.
  • Participate in design reviews with peers to provide feedback.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
Requirements
  • 0-2 years experience in data engineering with Python or Java, Databricks, Hive, Spark, EMR, and SQL.
  • Demonstrated strength in data modeling, ETL development, and data streaming.
  • Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles.
  • Experience in microservices architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful APIs.
  • Cloud services experience to build integrated applications (AWS - EC2, ECS, API gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Kafka).
  • CI/CD and DevOps responsibilities for deploying and supporting software in production.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to connect with both business and technical teams.
