Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Developer to join our team. As a key member, you will design and develop bootloader software for multiple Qualcomm chipsets.

This role requires strong knowledge of bootloader frameworks, development lifecycle, and parallel processing concepts. You should have experience with Qualcomm MSM platforms, AMSS development, and ARM architecture.

The ideal candidate will have solid C or C++ programming skills, familiarity with build systems, linkage, and binary formats like ELF. Experience with version control tools such as Git, Gerrit, and/or Perforce is also required.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining bootloader software, supporting feature development, validation, and testing in both pre-silicon and post-silicon stages. You will also enhance bootloader performance, portability, and sustainability across platforms.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 3+ years of software engineering experience; or Master's degree with 2+ years experience; or PhD with 1+ year experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python (3+ years of experience).
Skills & Experience:
  • In-depth knowledge of bootloader frameworks and development lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of parallel processing concepts: threads, signals, priorities, semaphores, mutexes, race conditions, deadlocks.
  • Experience with Qualcomm MSM platforms, AMSS development, and ARM architecture.
  • Solid C or C++ programming skills.
  • Familiarity with build systems, linkage, and binary formats like ELF.
  • Experience using version control tools such as Git, Gerrit, and/or Perforce.
Responsibilities:
