">Your Key Responsibilities:

- Lead projects in the capacity of Mechanical engineering, preparing technical specifications, reports, and estimates.">
- Involved in tender preparation and negotiations with clients to achieve commercially profitable business objectives.">
- Engage directly with clients and colleagues to deliver successful outcomes, contributing to work winning and market development.">
- Provide expert advice and guidance on engineering projects, including feasibility studies, design reviews, and troubleshooting.">
- Develop and analyze mechanical designs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.">
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.">
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.">
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals.">
- Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and project team members to deliver successful projects.">
- Act as a technical expert to mentor and develop other Mechanical engineers within the team, and provide Mechanical design expertise in overseeing all technical aspects of projects.">
- Provide client consultation by drawing on professional expertise and deep knowledge of Aurecon's consultancy services.">

- This role offers a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, and is based in Sydney, Australia.">

About You:
">- ">
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 8-10 years related professional experience in buildings services, of which 2 to 3 years are in data centre design or related.">
- Strong background in building Mechanical design within a consulting environment will be advantageous.">
- Strong interest in working on innovative, energy efficient and sustainable projects.">
- Project leadership and management experience, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.">
- You should be proactive with the ability to work independently or part of a team and possess good communication skills and business acumen.">
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, proven business development and account management skills.">
- High level of computer literacy and exposure to BIM/Revit will be highly desired, with advanced problem-solving skills through investigation and analysis.">
- Literacy in the use of digital tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk Naviswork, BIM360 and drive BIM processes.">
- Strong ability in navigating 3D BIM model to review multi-disciplinary design, identify issues, provide solutions and delegate the design team to resolve them.">
