Job Title: Equity Trader

We are seeking a skilled Equity Trader to join our team at a leading financial institution. As an Equity Trader, you will be responsible for executing equity trades in a timely and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute equity trades within regulatory guidelines
  • Coordinate with portfolio managers to understand trade intent, strategy, and urgency
  • Monitor market movements, liquidity, and key macro indicators to support optimal execution
  • Maintain accurate order books, trade logs, and transaction records
  • Liaise with brokers, custodians, and internal operations teams for seamless trade settlements
  • Provide regular execution reports and contribute to Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA)
  • Support the development of dealing desk processes and systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Professional certifications such as CFA or CAIA preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in equity trading or related field
  • Strong knowledge of equity markets and analysis skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
