Automated Test Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Automated Test Engineer with experience in software testing and automation using Playwright to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to improving test strategies and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing of web applications
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and requirements
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues
  • Participate in code reviews and improve test coverage
  • Maintain test data and test environments
  • Contribute to improving test strategies and automation frameworks

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation
  • Hands-on experience in Playwright for web testing
  • Strong knowledge of testing concepts, defect lifecycle, and Agile practices
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with Git and CI tools (like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
