Job Title: Technical Writer

You will play a crucial role in crafting high-quality documentation that showcases products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to define target audiences, outline manuals, and write documentation that is technically accurate and conforms to writing style guidelines.

You will work closely with Product and Delivery teams to deliver technical documentation that focuses on clarity, completeness, accuracy, and usability. This involves obtaining product information from agile meetings, specifications, supplemental material, and discussions with subject matter experts (SMEs).

To ensure the quality of our documentation, you will participate in peer review processes and contribute to the development and maintenance of existing documentation processes, standards, checklists, and templates.

Your expertise will also extend to suggesting screen labels and error messages that improve the customer experience (UX). Additionally, you will be skilled in writing, editing, reviewing, and scrutinizing various documents, including user guides, FAQs, and product technical overviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define target audience, outline manuals, and write documentation that is technically accurate and conforms to company's writing style guidelines.
  • Document new features and maintain existing documentation versions, including user guides, FAQs, and product technical overviews.
  • Work closely with Product and Delivery teams to deliver technical documentation with a high focus on clarity, completeness, accuracy, and usability.
  • Obtain product information from agile meetings, specifications, supplemental material, and discussions with SMEs.
  • Participate in peer review processes to improve documentation quality.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of existing documentation processes, standards, checklists, and templates.
  • Suggest screen labels and error messages with a focus on improving the customer experience (UX).

Requirements:

  • Proven English writing skills.
  • Knowledge of MSTP is required.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Good decision-making and planning skills, strong research skills, high attention to detail, and team player skills.
  • Self-motivated with positive attitude and analytical skills.
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Visio.
