Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team at MAYNOR CONSULTING. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, working with Azure Analysis Services and Azure SQL Database, and developing expertise in SQL and Python (PySpark, Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Azure Big Data Stack
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing, with solid knowledge of Data Modelling, Relational Databases, and BI and Data Warehousing
  • Demonstrated expertise in SQL
  • Python (PySpark, Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib)
  • Bonus: Other languages such as C#, experience with CI/CD, Cloud architectures, NoSQL Databases
  • Working knowledge or experience in Agile, DevOps
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience with cloud-based architectures
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Ability to work with geographically diverse teams via collaborative technologies
