About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Data Engineer with extensive expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines on the Google Cloud Platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting large, complex datasets to meet diverse business needs and leveraging various GCP services to build integrated systems.

This is a challenging opportunity for a specialist with 10+ years of experience to work on projects for industries like Energy, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, and Finance. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of different file formats, knowledge of Data Lake concepts, and experience with API development and consumption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing using GCP tools.
  • Construct large, complex datasets to meet diverse business needs.
  • Leverage a variety of GCP services, including Big Query, Cloud Dataflow (Apache Beam), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub to build integrated systems.
  • Orchestrate workflows using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
  • Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices (GitHub, Terraform) to ensure the reliability and scalability of data pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • GCP Services: Proficiency in Big Query, Cloud Dataflow (Apache Beam), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL, experience with structured ERP solutions like SAP, Oracle EBS, and Salesforce, strong understanding of different file formats, and knowledge of Data Lake concepts.
  • Data Security & Governance: Proven ability to implement IAM best practices and familiarity with data masking and anonymization techniques.
