Backend Development Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a robust, scalable data platform. This platform will support key commerce functions such as marketing, pricing, and inventory management.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing backend services, data pipelines, and APIs that handle high-volume, multi-market operations. A strong grasp of data structures and algorithms is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Software Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern languages and frameworks.
  • Data Design: Model data structures that can scale and adapt across geographies and evolving marketplaces.
  • Project Execution: Balance priorities and deliver across multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience building backend systems for commerce, retail, or logistics platforms.
  • Exposure to distributed systems or event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native development on AWS or GCP, including use of managed services.
  • Understanding of MLOps workflows or experience collaborating with data science teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience designing APIs that serve diverse frontend and third-party integrations.
  • Contributions to open-source projects, technical blogs, or internal tooling.
  • Knowledge of agentic frameworks or interest in AI-driven automation.

Technical Skills: Python, Node.js, Java, data structures, algorithms, agile methodologies, cloud-native development, MLOps, API design.
