Our StoryAzimuth GRC was founded in 2017 by Rohin Tagra, a seasoned banker with over 20 years of experience in the financial services and banking regulatory space. Rohin's vision was to help financial services organizations address the gaps in the regulatory change management process and provide an easy-to-implement solution for full-population automated compliance testing.
Role OverviewThe Project Manager - Regulatory Compliance Management will oversee and coordinate regulatory compliance projects, ensuring that all activities align with legal and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, developing compliance strategies, and ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and within regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage regulatory compliance projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement compliance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated into project plans.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential compliance risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address these risks.
- Prepare and present compliance reports and documentation to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of compliance practices, recommending improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Stay current with changes in regulations and industry standards, ensuring that the company remains compliant with evolving requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on regulatory compliance issues and best practices.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CCEP) is preferred. The ideal candidate will have proven experience (5+ years) in project management with a focus on regulatory compliance or risk management.
The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to the industry, a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, and demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with various departments.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing compliance issues, are essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences, are also required.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (Preferred - JIRA) is a plus.
Preferred SkillsExperience with regulatory compliance in a global or multi-national environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with compliance software and systems, as well as knowledge of industry-specific compliance frameworks and best practices, are also preferred.
