Job Description

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of conversational AI.

Our team is building a platform to power the next trillion voice interactions. Our AI-powered customer service agents already resolve over 1M+ tickets monthly for major enterprise customers across various industries.

You will design and implement high-performance backend services and infrastructure, writing clean, modular, and well-documented Python code using Django as a plus.

We are looking for someone who can collaborate with our founders and engineers to influence architecture and direction, take ownership of projects from design to deployment in a startup environment, and drive innovation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing high-performance backend services and infrastructure
  • Writing clean, modular, and well-documented Python code (using Django)
  • Collaborating with founders and engineers to influence architecture and direction
  • Taking ownership of projects from design to deployment in a startup environment

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience with deep Python expertise (Django a plus)
  • Strong cloud skills (AWS or GCP), with familiarity in Kubernetes/Docker
  • Proven track record of building and scaling infrastructure in production
  • Prior startup experience or evidence of end-to-end ownership
  • CS degree or equivalent professional foundation
