Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models for durability and strength assessment at component, subsystem, and vehicle levels.
  • Perform linear and nonlinear simulations from model creation to report generation.
  • Correlate FEA models with test data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Conduct fatigue analysis to optimize vehicle design and longevity.
  • Implement Virtual Prototyping techniques for topology, topography, size, and shape optimization, as well as Design of Experiments (DOE) for durability and stiffness evaluation.
  • Utilize transient analysis in the Implicit domain and Multi-Body Dynamics (Flex System) for complex simulation scenarios.
  • Execute Explicit Analysis for crash, impact, and drop simulations to ensure occupant safety.
  • Train junior engineers and improve existing methodologies to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Develop new capabilities in weld fatigue, plastics, and Virtual Road Load Duty Cycle development.
  • Create innovative tools to reduce design and analysis time.

Job Requirements:

  • B.Tech / M.Tech / M.S in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 to 6 years of experience in the field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in durability simulations, with a strong understanding of nonlinearities in materials, contact, geometric, and load conditions.
  • Hands-on experience with Abaqus, Hypermesh, Hyperworks Optistruct, Ansys Mechanical, HyperStudy, Fatigue Solvers like nCode Design Life, and FEMFAT.
  • Experience with Explicit Analysis tools like Radioss, LS-Dyna would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and innovation skills.
  • Tcl-tk and Python programming skills are an added advantage.

Salary Range: ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
