Job Title:

The Electrical and Instrumentation Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities related to electrical, electronics, and instrumentation systems within a plant or industrial setting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leading and supervising maintenance teams in ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency of plant operations through proper management of electrical, electronics, and instrumentation systems.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues in machine panels, drive systems, SCADA, PLCs, and automation controls to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to enhance equipment reliability and reduce breakdowns.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and statutory requirements in all electrical and instrumentation works.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes and systems to enhance overall plant efficiency.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems, as well as experience in team management and training.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronics principles, including circuit analysis, motor control, and plc programming.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, drive systems, and automation controls.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and develop team members.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools, such as Siemens SIMATIC, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, and AutoCAD.
