Job Title: Data Architect

About the Position

This role requires a skilled professional with expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end data architecture solutions utilizing Snowflake and Matillion for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, SQL, Python/Bash, and cloud platforms like AWS/Azure. Additionally, experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and create robust data pipelines is essential.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable data architectures leveraging Snowflake and Matillion.
  • Maintain data modeling standards, data flows, and architecture best practices.
  • Evaluate and adopt tools in the modern data stack to ensure scalability and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and create effective data pipelines.
  • Ensure data security, access controls, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, caching, query tuning, and cost management.
  • Oversee data integration from APIs, databases, flat files, and third-party platforms.
  • Establish data quality and metadata management practices.
