We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to lead our team of developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in backend technologies such as Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js, as well as solid frontend skills with React.js, Next.js, and JavaScript.

About the Role

The Senior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for leading and guiding the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles. This includes:

  • Driving the design and implementation of scalable, modular microservices-based applications.">
  • Developing and maintaining backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and/or Express.js or Next.Js.">
  • Building responsive, optimized frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, and integrating with REST APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven systems.">
  • Collaborating with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and DevOps teams for successful delivery.">
  • Architecting and optimizing database solutions (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) ensuring performance and scalability.">
  • Overseeing and contributing to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • ">
  • 6-12 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with at least 2 years in a senior/lead role.">
  • Strong backend expertise with Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js.">
  • Solid frontend skills with React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript.">
  • Proven ability to lead a team, make architectural decisions, and enforce engineering discipline.">
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture and inter-service communication.">
  • Proficiency with REST APIs, GraphQL, event-driven systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ preferred).">
  • Experience with relational & NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).">
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.">
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.">
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.">

Domain Knowledge

A strong understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, FERPA) and secure handling of student data is also essential.
