Nanoparticle Assay Specialist

This role involves the development of innovative nanoparticle-based assays for diagnostic applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize assays using various materials and technologies.
• Conduct hands-on experiments, including nanoparticle fabrication, characterization, and stability assessment.
• Troubleshoot complex performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate assays into IVD products.
• Develop and maintain technical documents, reports, and presentations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Analytical Chemistry, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 2-3+ years of direct assay development experience in the academy or IVD or medical device industry.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with nanoparticle bioconjugation, particularly gold nanoparticles.
• Strong understanding of experimental design (DoE), statistical analysis, and analytical techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing assays for whole blood samples.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines relevant to IVD product development.
• Experience with advanced analytical techniques for characterizing nanoparticles.
