We are seeking an accomplished Software Professional to join our elite team of engineers. This highly challenging and dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge Linux-based infrastructure and applications, covering all layers of the stack, including bare metal, virtualization, containerization, storage, networking, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and open source applications.

This position demands a broad range of skills and expertise, enabling you to tackle complex engineering tasks and contribute to the development of Ubuntu and other open-source projects. You will be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving critical issues in the open-source stack, driving upstream bug fixes, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong academic background in Computer Science or a related field, have hands-on experience with Linux and open-source software, and be proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, C, or C++. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also essential.
