Occupational Therapist - At-Home Therapy Specialist

Carely is a disability support platform providing structured, ongoing care to families of disabled children and young adults. We partner with skilled professionals to deliver therapies and services that are compassionate, respectful, and effective — in the family's own home.

Job Overview:

We seek an experienced and empathetic Occupational Therapist to provide at-home therapy sessions for clients. This freelance role involves conducting 1:1 occupational therapy sessions at client homes, assessing needs, developing personalized goals, and creating engaging activities to support motor, sensory, and daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one occupational therapy sessions at clients' residences
  • Evaluate children's functional needs and create tailored therapy objectives
  • Design interactive activities to promote motor, sensory, and daily living skills
  • Maintain session records and share progress updates with our team
  • Collaborate with other professionals involved in the child's care as needed
  • Communicate effectively with families and support them in implementing therapy strategies at home

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT certification required)
  • At least one year of experience working with children with disabilities (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working independently in home environments

This is a flexible contract role with variable monthly hours.
