Automation Quality Assurance Leader

We are looking for a seasoned Automation Quality Assurance leader to spearhead our testing initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team and take ownership of ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

About the Role
  • This leadership role oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of automation frameworks across multiple platforms.
  • You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to achieve testing objectives and align with product release goals.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Python, Playwright, and Appium, as well as experience with performance and load testing tools like Locust and JMeter.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute strategic plans to improve test efficiency, reduce test cycles, and increase overall quality.
  2. Leverage industry-leading technologies to design scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.
  3. Mentor and train junior engineers to enhance their skills and contribute to the growth of our QA team.
  4. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of testing efforts with release planning.
  5. Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
  • No less than 6 years of experience in software testing, preferably in an automated testing environment.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python programming language, specifically with respect to building and scaling automation frameworks.
  • Strong background in web and mobile automation using Playwright, Appium, and/or other similar tools.
  • Familiarity with performance and load testing tools, including Locust, JMeter, and/or k6.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline management, including GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a fast-paced Agile environment.
