Senior Social Media Leader Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Media Leader to oversee our social marketing mandate, driving the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for short-form social media activations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for briefing and working with agency partners to ensure timely delivery of deliverables, developing go-to-market strategies, and collaborating with external partners to align plans and ensure smooth execution.

This role requires excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will also be responsible for informing internal teams of key trends and brand crisis situations on social media that can impact the business.

In addition, they will help inform and implement paid media to drive reach, manage community engagement, and develop strategies and plans around recruitment and optimization of influencers.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a dynamic mindset, passion for AI and new technologies, and understanding of AI tools. A good working relationship with influencer agencies, talent management agencies, and content creators is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Briefing and working with agency partners to align, develop, and ensure deliverables are completed on time as per plan
  • Developing Go To Market strategies for Shorts social marketing activations including owned and operated social and the social of allied partners (talent, labels, partners etc) to drive business, marketing, and social goals
  • Working closely with external partners to align plans and ensure deliverables are delivered and executed smoothly
  • Informing internal teams of key trends and/or brand crisis situations on social media that can impact the business
  • Helping inform and sometimes implement paid media to drive reach
  • Community Management with a focus on identifying engagement opportunities and driving conversations between brand and users
Requirements:
  • Analyzing successes, failures, learnings, and way forward on initiatives and experiments and socializing the same with cross-functional teams
  • Continuous optimization of influencer plans based on feedback, learnings, and results
  • Proactiveness and willingness to run robust experiments to optimize influencer marketing plans which inform future marketing strategies
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
