Job Title: Steel Structure Design Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Tekla steel modeller and detailer to join our team on various industrial and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural drawings, reference models, and contractual documents.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Studying and understanding all structural drawings and reference models to learn the project scope of work and requirements.
  • Understanding architectural and MEP drawings/models.
  • Creating 3D steel models coordinating with multiple disciplines.
  • Preparing structural 2D erection and shop drawings using Tekla Structures.
  • Interpreting and incorporating approval comments, design changes, and other revisions into the project scope.
  • Handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preparing RFIs related to projects.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/B. Tech. in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of professional experience.
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD and sound basic knowledge of Tekla.
  • Experience in working on international projects adhering to European standards.
  • Hands-on experience in Idea statiCA is an added advantage.
  • High achiever with a desire for personal and professional growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with FEM competence considered beneficial.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
