Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Maintain alignment with global standards and emerging trends in education and healthcare through the development and implementation of strategic plans.
    • Drive continuous improvement in curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment to meet learning outcomes, technological advancements, and industry needs.
  • Innovation Development
    • Foster a vibrant research culture by supporting faculty and students in scholarly activities, publishing, and securing funding.
    • Establish frameworks and systems to facilitate cutting-edge research and seamless academic operations.
  • Governance and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
    • Oversee key committees, emphasizing governance, transparency, and accountability.
  • External Engagement
    • Represent the university nationally and internationally to enhance visibility and reputation.
    • Establish partnerships with institutions, providers, research bodies, and industries to support student internships, placements, and knowledge exchange.
  • Student Success
    • Champion student welfare, mentoring, career readiness, and holistic development.
    • Create a safe, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating campus environment.

Qualifications include a distinguished academic background, teaching experience, and relevant medical or doctoral qualifications from a premier institution. A minimum of 10+ years of experience in academic leadership or equivalent positions is required, along with proven expertise in steering institutions toward top rankings and leading diverse teams and organizations.
