Job Title: Senior Accounts Payable Analyst">

Job Description:

  • Process and verify invoices in a timely manner, adhering to established company procedures.
  • Investigate aged payments and resolve queries or disputes efficiently.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for approval and authorization of payments.
  • Review and update supplier master data, including opening and amending accounts.
  • Handle high volumes of email queries and respond within agreed time frames.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to telephone inquiries.
  • Reconcile direct debit accounts as needed.
  • Set up one-off payments with relevant banks.
  • Release approved purchase orders to the business.
  • Implement process improvements to minimize manual work.
  • Ensure strict adherence to audit controls.
  • Prepare weekly and process multi-currency payments for UK and EMEA entities.
  • Perform month-end accruals, analysis, and investigation.
  • Reconcile company credit card programs.
  • Verify employee expense claim guidance updates from HMRC accordingly.
  • Provide coverage during team member absences.
  • Participate actively in projects impacting Accounts Payable.
  • Communicate regularly with the Global Accounts Payable team and Credit Control General Ledger.
  • Engage in training and testing for new systems.
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities within the role, enhancing efficiency while maintaining accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounts Payable experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls and financial systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and simple formulas.
  • Account reconciliation experience.
  • Self-motivation and flexibility.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with different levels of the business.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Team player.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Background within finance functions of a European technology company.
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 experience.
  • Shared Service Centre experience.
