MIS Management Job Overview

The MIS department is responsible for managing the flow of information within an organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MIS operations, reporting, and development.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day MIS operations to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports on time, including budget vs actual analysis and variance reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for payment collection, vendor billing, and invoicing processes.
  • Oversee accounts payable function to ensure timely payment to vendors while maintaining a healthy cash flow.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement in facilities management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-10 years of experience in Facilities Management or a related field with expertise in MIS development, operations, and reporting.
  • A strong understanding of accountancy principles, including accounts payable processing and budget preparation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel) for report generation and presentation.
