Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior/Staff Platform Software Engineer to join our development team. As a key member, you'll design and develop high-quality back-end SaaS applications, leveraging object-oriented programming (OOP), distributed systems, and data modeling expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performance software for mission-critical business processes
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain core components of our flagship platform
  • Drive end-to-end development of new features and functionality
  • Investigate and resolve production issues
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development best practices
  • Collaborate closely with customer-facing teams to address issues and generate innovative solutions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product engineering
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proven expertise in working with distributed systems and high-throughput data pipelines
  • Extreme proficiency in Kotlin or Java
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka and Spring Boot
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, design, and debugging skills
  • Able to quickly adapt to new technologies and learn from experience
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with common dev ops and tools an asset
