Job Description

A mechanical design engineer with experience in SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, and piping design software is sought to join a growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in mechanical design, knowledge of ASTM codes, and practical experience in the design of industrial systems and piping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and modify 2D & 3D mechanical designs using SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD.
  • Develop piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings using piping software.
  • Interpret and apply relevant ASTM standards and codes in designs.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and project teams to ensure design feasibility and efficiency.
  • Assist in BOM preparation, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in design reviews and support project execution with accurate and timely deliverables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in mechanical design using SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, and piping software.
  • Familiarity with ASTM codes and basic piping engineering principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
