Robotics Engineer Job Description

About the Role:

A skilled Robotics Engineer is required to design, develop, and maintain robotic systems and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will apply mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles to build robots that improve efficiency, safety, and productivity in various industries.

  • Design and develop robotic systems, components, and prototypes to meet specific requirements.
  • Create and program control systems, sensors, and automation software to ensure seamless integration and performance.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing robotic applications to optimize their functionality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration, performance, and compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct research to enhance robotic capabilities and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, ML, and IoT.
  • Develop technical documentation, reports, and user manuals to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong foundation in robotics, mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering. Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, and ROS.
  • Knowledge of control systems, sensors, and embedded systems.
  • Experience with CAD software and mechanical design.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with AI, computer vision, and machine learning is a plus.
