Senior Product Owner Role

A Senior Product Owner is needed to lead our product management efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders on key performance indicators, product roadmap, development plans, upcoming releases, and areas requiring leadership attention
  • Collaborate with the product team to manage dependencies and increments of value
  • Conduct continuous product discovery and offer valuable solutions that align with business objectives
  • Use data to define baselines, measure outcomes, share insights, prioritize backlog items, etc.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, present new technologies/solutions, identify unmet/underserved needs
  • Define and maintain a healthy backlog, operating consistently in adopting organizational standards and presenting the backlog items with cross-functional teams
  • Seek input from product, process, and technology areas and balance time-sensitive improvements needed for maintaining both technical and product health
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders (i.e., UX, Technology, Vendors, Risk, Compliance, Security)
  • Influence leaders, teams, and peers on product strategy, roadmap items, key performance indicators, and upcoming releases
  • Practice agility in discovering and delivering value continuously

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 3 years of experience in product management or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience determining product market fit and defining a go-to-market strategy
  • Familiarity with Agile product management tools

Key Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:

  • Product ownership, roadmapping, product management, product delivery, data analysis/design thinking, Scrum/agile technologies
  • Relevant certifications in product management/product delivery
  • Strong knowledge/expertise of product domain including business model, constraints, regulations, user experiences, etc.
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency, and ease
  • Proficient analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient relationship-building skills, including capacity to predict and manage behavior, build and leverage cross-functional partnerships within and outside the organization, and leverage influential leadership
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
