As a Senior SAP FICO Application Specialist at Cummins Inc., you will be responsible for providing comprehensive application functionality, configuration, and support expertise for SAP FICO application software solutions. This includes working with business analysts, architects, technical experts, and software vendors on solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement of the applications.

You will analyze and evaluate application functionality and provide recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities. You will determine and document the optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications and configure and verify the application setup and configuration.

","Key Qualifications": "

College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related subject is required. Relevant work experience of 7-10 years is required. Good understanding of business processes pertaining to FICO is part of the domain knowledge. SAP FICO application experience including configuration, design, testing, compliance, and implementation is required. Experience in SAP Finance module-General Ledger accounting, Accounts Receivables and Payables, Asset accounting, Month end activities, Bank and Cash accounting is required. Experience in SAP Controlling module including Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Result Analysis and settlements, Product Costing (including BOMs and Routings), Profitability Analysis (COPA), Manufacturing Variances and Settlements, and Profit Centers is required. Integration of SAP Finance-Materials Management, Finance-Sales and Distribution, CO-Project systems in SAP S4 Hana is required. Cross Functional experience with FICO, PP, QM, PM, MM, PM, etc is required. SAP Certification is mandatory.

Solution Configuration: Configures, creates, and tests a solution for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using industry standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.

Solution Validation Testing: Validates a configuration item change or solution using the Function’s defined best practices, including the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards, tools, and metrics, to ensure that it works as designed and meets customer requirements.
