We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time role with immediate to 30 days joining time.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will design and develop scalable and efficient software solutions using Java, Scala, or similar functional programming paradigms.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Optimizing and enhancing existing systems by utilizing deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to best practices in software development.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in both best practices and career growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong DSA Fundamentals: Proven expertise in data structures and algorithms is essential for this role.
- 3 - 9 years of experience in software development, preferably in backend or systems engineering roles.
- Strong programming skills in Scala or Java (with interest in learning Scala).
- Experience with at least one Scala framework (Play or Akka) and solid experience in API development and working with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
