About This Opportunity

Take on a unique role as a Wealth Manager, working on cutting-edge projects that involve investment advisory, portfolio management, asset allocation, and risk profiling.

This is an exceptional chance for self-driven students with financial skills to engage in multiple mini-projects across various functional areas. You will gain practical exposure to wealth management simulation.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Wealth Management & Client Engagement
    • Interact with clients and develop strategies to meet their investment needs.
    • Assist in creating pitch books and investment presentations for clients.
    • Analyze market data to provide insights for portfolio recommendations.
    • Participate in mock client meetings to enhance communication skills.
  • Financial Research & Analysis
    • Conduct fundamental and technical analysis of equities and alternative investments.
    • Understand debt securities and yield to maturity (YTM) calculations.
    • Compare different investment options such as corporate bonds, NCDs, and mutual funds.
  • Portfolio & Risk Management
    • Develop portfolio allocation strategies using AI-powered tools.
    • Perform risk profiling using our Virtual Risk Analyser and understand behavioral biases.
    • Create a portfolio of assets allocating virtual money to buy equities, debt, ETFs, and alternative investments like REITs and INVITs.
  • Technical & AI-Driven Financial Tools
    • Learn about artificial intelligence in portfolio management.
    • Work on Virtual Risk Analyser and Virtual Portfolio Analyser.
  • Capstone Project
    • Prepare an investment proposal for a client, including portfolio allocation recommendations, long-term macroeconomic outlook, security/fund selection, and justification.

You will learn practical skills in investment advisory, portfolio construction, and risk analysis, along with hands-on experience of asset allocation using investment advisory tools. You will also gain strong analytical and financial modelling skills, enhanced presentation and communication skills, and knowledge of AI applications in finance.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A student or fresh graduate background from any academic discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A willingness to self-learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

The internship duration is self-paced, offering the option of 1 month or 2 months within a period of 4 months. Please note that this is an unpaid internship opportunity.
