SAP Datasphere Consultant Position Overview

As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for driving enterprise data strategy, architecture, and implementation on SAP Datasphere.

This leadership role requires an expert in end-to-end solution architecture, migration strategy, and design of enterprise data models, semantic layers, and harmonized data views.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive solution architectures for SAP Datasphere integration with enterprise systems.
  • Lead the migration process from SAP BW/4HANA and legacy warehouses to Datasphere.
  • Design and implement data models, semantic layers, and harmonized data views.
  • Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance within Datasphere.
  • Collaborate with CXOs, business stakeholders, and IT teams to define scalable data roadmaps.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
  • Integrate Datasphere with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP S/4HANA, and 3rd party sources.
  • Optimize performance, best practices, and reusable frameworks for data pipelines.
  • Stay updated on SAP BTP innovations, AI/ML integration, and advanced analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 12+ years in data warehousing, data integration, and analytics.
  • Minimum 8+ years hands-on experience in SAP Datasphere or early adopters with strong BW/4HANA to Datasphere migration experience.
  • Strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, HANA modeling, SQL, and data architecture.
  • Proven experience in enterprise-scale data strategy and transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP services, APIs, and cloud integration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and BI reporting tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
