Finance Operations Manager Job Description:

The role of a Finance Operations Manager involves overseeing and managing all aspects of finance operations within a hotel or resort setting.

  • Accounts Management: Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Credit Management: Oversees credit control processes to ensure timely collection of debts and manage risk exposure.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develops and manages budgets to ensure financial stability and efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generates and monitors various financial reports, including cash flow statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.


Requirements:

To be successful as a Finance Operations Manager, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Hotel/Resort Finance Experience: A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in hotel/resort finance operations.
  • Leadership and Analytical Skills: Strong leadership and analytical skills to effectively manage teams and make informed business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Proficiency in financial reporting and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Communication and Team Management: Excellent communication and team management skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and drive business results.
