About Software Quality Assurance Role

This challenging position involves ensuring that software products are delivered with high quality by systematically testing and validating their functionality.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.

This role requires proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries, expertise in test case execution, bug reporting, and defect tracking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure high-quality software products.
  • Identify and document defects, and work with development teams to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Document errors meticulously and provide detailed reports.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience as a Manual Tester with a proven track record.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
  • In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
  • Ability to document errors meticulously and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Expertise in test case execution, bug reporting, and defect tracking.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech).

Onboarding Process:
  • First Month: Training on solutions, gaining a deep understanding of the major products we work with.
  • First 3 Months: Assignment to a vertical within the team and start working with the Lead.
  • First 6 Months: Involvement in requirement discussions, conducting thorough testing, identifying defects, and ensuring that software products meet the desired quality standards.
