Senior Academic Professional

Our institution is seeking a highly experienced senior academic professional to join our faculty as a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students, guiding research projects, and contributing to the academic development of the institution.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant subject with minimum 55% marks and at least 2-15 years of teaching/research experience in higher education. They should also possess strong subject knowledge, practical expertise, effective communication skills, and familiarity with laboratory management and modern teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions on B.Sc program courses in the respective specialization as per curriculum guidelines.
  • Prepare and design lesson plans, study materials, and evaluation methods to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Supervise practicals, experiments, and laboratory work, and guide students in academic projects, dissertations, and research activities.
  • Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Mentor and counsel students for academic and career growth, and participate in curriculum planning, academic improvements, and departmental activities.
  • Engage in research, publications, and faculty development initiatives to stay updated with best practices in higher education.
  • Maintain discipline and a conducive learning environment, and contribute to the overall success of the institution.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks.
  • NET/Ph.D. in the concerned discipline preferred.
  • At least 2-15 years of teaching/research experience in higher education.
