Motorcyclist Calibration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled motorcyclist to join our team as a calibration specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our vehicle safety systems.

  • Proficient knowledge of motorcycle dynamics
  • Familiarity with automotive safety regulations
  • Advanced understanding of vehicle safety systems, including antilock braking system and traction control
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle communication protocols
  • Proficient motorcyle riding skills
  • Basic calibration skills
  • Basic problem solving skills
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering (mechanical, automotive, electrical, electronics, or computer science)
  • At least 3 years of experience in the automotive domain
Requirements

As a calibration specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our vehicle safety systems. This includes:

  • Understanding the calibration requirements for defining the execution plan to achieve performance, safety, and regulatory targets
  • Executing assigned calibration packages to ensure alignment with the calibration strategy
  • Assisting in the preparation of final calibration datasets by performing validation tests and final reports
  • Supporting internal field complaints by checking vehicle behavior at customer locations to assist the quality team in arriving at the root cause
  • Identifying problem statements to ideate and innovate solutions to solve customer pain points
