We're seeking an experienced Cloud Native Developer to join our team of innovators. At the forefront of aerospace technology, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to work that matters.

As a cloud native developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab. You will also work with various AWS Hosting Services like Elastic Kubernetes Services, AWS Lambda, Storage services mainly S3 buckets, and collaborate with teams to create reusable Terraform modules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2 instances, networking, storage, databases, and security, as well as experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform. Additionally, they will have scripting skills in Python, Bash, etc., and knowledge of version control systems like Git.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine and develop approaches to solutions
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate deployment processes
  • Ensure reliability and performance of cloud platform on AWS
  • Provide round-the-clock support
  • Mentor junior team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2 instances, networking, storage, databases, and security
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts and experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, etc.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
  • Kubernetes Certified Application Developer
  • Experience with other cloud platforms, e.g., AWS
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and practices
