Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at NetApp. In this role, you will be responsible for managing period close activity, performing cost allocation and reporting, calculating monthly accrual and provisioning, and preparing and validating amortization schedules.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Manage month end closing activities, ensuring proper monthly/quarterly/annually reconciliations.
  • Perform accounting analysis for accruals, prepaid expenses, and account reconciliations.
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions.
  • Analyze and perform foreign currency exchange and accounting.
  • Manage cost allocation activity.
  • Prepare schedules for period end reporting.
  • Reconcile Account Receivable, Account Payables and Fixed Assets sub ledger balances.
  • Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits.
  • Reconcile general ledger and sub ledger accounts.
  • Review financial reports to identify and explain variances.
  • Follow documentation retention policy to maintain accounting files.
  • Prepare cash flow statements and resolve outstanding balancing issues.
  • Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Oracle ERP experience is desirable.
  • A team player and detail-oriented person.
  • Zeal towards Operational Excellence/Process improvement & simplifications.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial controls and procedures, and US GAAP knowledge.
  • Good organizational skills, including prioritization and time management. Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.
  • Perform accounting analyses and reporting to support decision-making purposes.

Education

  • B. Com / M. Com / MBA.
  • Min 2 to 5 years of experience of GL R2R experience.
