Senior Web Development Manager Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and experienced Senior Web Development Manager with in-depth expertise in PHP frameworks and WordPress development, complemented by strong project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a cross-functional team of web developers and project managers to deliver high-quality web applications.
  • Develop scalable web solutions using PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter) and WordPress.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution from requirement gathering to delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Implement coding standards, architecture best practices, and project management methodologies to drive efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and WordPress.
  • Proven experience in leading web development teams and managing complex projects.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, multisite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git), deployment tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
