Oracle Finance Functional Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Finance Functional Analyst to join our team. As an Oracle Finance Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding client business processes and mapping them to Oracle EBS.

You will collaborate with the technical architect to suggest solutions for any gaps that exist. Additionally, you will support users by resolving issues, managing feature backlogs, and ensuring timely resolution within agreed SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough requirement studies to identify client needs.
  2. Prepare detailed documents outlining current processes (RD020) and obtain client sign-off.
  3. Map client requirements to Oracle application processes.
  4. Develop To-Be Process documents (BP080) and obtain client sign-off.
  5. Set up Conference Room Pilot environments for testing and validation.
  6. Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
  7. Develop Standard Operating Procedure manuals for client reference.
  8. Test customizations, including forms, interfaces, and reports.
  9. Assist in setting up User Acceptance Testing environments.
  10. Support clients during UAT and resolve any issues that arise.
  11. Coordinate the setup of Production Instances.
  12. Collaborate with developers on data migration tasks.
  13. Provide post-live support to ensure smooth system operation.
Qualifications/Technical Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance.
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle R12 implementation, specifically GL/AP/AR and FA, India GST, and EBTAX.
  • Minimum two end-to-end implementations in R12.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and skills.
  • Proven experience in migrations and data transfers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Good self-management skills and stress resilience.
