Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable backend applications using Python, Django, and FastAPI.
  • Built robust REST APIs and application modules with a strong focus on performance optimization.
  • Oversaw database schema design, query optimization, and transaction management (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
  • Ensured secure authentication, authorization, and RBAC practices were implemented.
  • Worked with async programming to improve performance-critical services.
  • Managed background jobs and distributed task queues (Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ) for efficient task execution.
  • Monitored application performance, fault tolerance, and scalability to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Collaborated with frontend, DevOps, and product teams for successful feature delivery.
  • Developed clean, reusable, and testable code with proper unit/integration tests.
  • Participated in code reviews, architecture discussions, and deployments to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Core Python (OOP, data structures, design patterns).
  • Hands-on experience with Django (ORM, middleware, application architecture) and FastAPI for building async APIs.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, WebSockets, SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL (Redis/MongoDB), and async IO, concurrency, and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of API security, session management, and data protection.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs, payment gateways, or external services.
