Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Support Engineer to ensure the smooth deployment, operation, and support of business-critical applications.

This role involves managing application and database deployments, resolving production incidents, improving system stability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud-based production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting within distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and execute application and database deployments in line with Change Management processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve real-time production incidents, ensuring timely communication and escalation.
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and lead post-incident reviews.
  • Implement and optimize system monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Evaluate and enhance system performance, ensuring compliance with defined SLAs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational excellence.
  • Maintain up-to-date support documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Collaborate with product owners and technical teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical applications.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in application or production support, preferably in cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of system monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Proficient in Windows/Linux/Unix environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache, IIS, and SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with scripting (Python, Shell) for automation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, PagerDuty, Jenkins, GitHub, and O365 is desirable.
