This role offers the ideal candidate a chance to manage and support IT-related operations of an educational institution. Key responsibilities include overseeing technical aspects of computer labs, studios, and digital assets.

The successful candidate will provide daily technical support to faculty, staff, and students in computer lab environments, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues efficiently, and maintain inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth execution of academic and creative projects by providing technical oversight of computer labs, studios, and digital assets.
  • Provide daily technical support to faculty, staff, and students in computer lab environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues efficiently.
  • Maintain a well-documented inventory record of all IT and studio assets.
  • Manage the secure issuance, tracking, and return of equipment such as cameras, accessories, and lab tools.
  • Coordinate the scheduling, availability, and smooth functioning of computer labs, operating over 44 hours per week.
  • Organize regular maintenance, software updates, and performance checks of lab and studio systems.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and efficient working environment within lab and studio facilities.
  • Collaborate with faculty and administration for planning and upgrading technical infrastructure based on evolving academic needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in IT support or lab management, preferably in an academic or media/production environment.
  • Proficiency in macOS and Windows systems, hardware installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with studio equipment (DSLRs, lighting, audio-visual tools) is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
