About the Role

The Senior Cloud Engineer will design and implement technical solutions and configure applications in different environments in response to business problems. With partial/full ownership of Production platforms, the Senior Cloud Engineer is required to ensure environment stability, expeditious and timely resolution of Production issues, ensuring minimal downtimes and continuity of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new functionality
  • Work with the team on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analysis and design
  • Coding and testing, reviewing other team member's changes. Unit test automation of new and existing functionality for maximum code coverage.
  • Document business and functional requirements, design decisions and API
  • Co-work with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality
  • Contribute to the definition of the future state of the system architecture.
  • Contribute to third-party product customization.
  • Able to manage a small team to mentor them for development and delivery
Requirements
  • 8 to 15 years of proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong hands-on experience in developing micro-service based applications
  • Strong experience in building cloud-native applications on GCP.
  • Strong Experience in deploying applications in Kubernetes Engine
  • Hands-on Knowledge of Github, Github Actions, Terraform
  • Experience with GCP Security, IAM Roles, key rotation, networking, VPC, InterConnect
  • Experience on GCP Apigee.
  • Exposure to GCP Monitoring, Observability, SRE
  • Knowledge on Multi-region deployment, Cost Optimization
  • Knowledge on Anthos Service Mesh, Istio, mTLS would be preferred
  • Good Experience in Oracle/Postgress
  • Exposure to Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Data JPA, Spring Integration & Batch
