Golf Editor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Golf editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sport and excellent editorial skills.

The role involves actively editing and publishing articles, proofreading for errors, researching facts, and mentoring junior writers. You will also be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations and undertaking other key duties as instructed by the Editorial Team Lead.

To succeed in this role, you should have a good grasp of the English language, be quick with fact-checking, and possess basic SEO knowledge. Prior experience of leading a team of writers would be an additional advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and publish 20-25 articles daily.
  • Proofread articles for grammatical and factual accuracy.
  • Research and verify facts.
  • Mentor junior writers.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Undertake other key duties as instructed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing.
  • Prior experience of leading a team of writers is desirable.
